    ACCELERATED READING

Accelerated Reading is a motivational reading program that we offer here at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School from First to Eighth Grade.  Accelerated Reading's goal is to improve the student's comprehension a s well as their reading speed.  Points earned on the tests can be used to purchase items at our Reading store.

I have purchase some items from the dollar stores.  These dollar stores are the perfect place to buy items..  The reading store is special to the students and I want to have available items to keep them excited and motivated.  We are in need of donations for our store.  If you can help us out we would appreciate it very much.  If you have any questions about the program or donations let me know.  I thank you in advance.
